I was the opening chef for El Vez in May, 2003. and this dish is still on the menu. The fish is crusted in tortilla chips and deep-fried. There are so many different textures and flavors in this dish, ranging from the chipotle sauce to the avocado. It’s spicy, salty, crunchy, creamy and tangy. I order this dish every time I go back.
