During his Havana days, Hemingway is said to have indulged in more than
a few of these refreshing Cuban cocktails—back when mojitos were a
simple concoction of lime juice, mint, rum and club soda. Today, the
writer’s signature sparkling drink, invented more than a century ago,
is bubbling up in restaurants across the country, with bartenders and
mixologists adding their own twists.
